This month I would like to remind you that we have: The Da Vinci code!

If you have seen the movie or heard all the hype now is your chance to read the book! Bremer Library hold a copy of The Da Vinci code.

We also have Angels and Demons if you would like to read another of Dan Brown's books.

The Library now holds 'Eldest'!

'Eldest' is the second book in the 'Inheritance' series. If you don't know this one you may have heard of 'Eragon', which was the first book of the series.

Both books are available for you to borrow in our new Library! If you haven't come for a look yet your missing out.

Library Holiday Hours

Holiday hours will start on Monday 19 September and finish on Friday 30 September.

Monday - Thursday will be 8am - 4pm

Friday will be 8am - 12 noon

Monday 3 October will see a return to our normal hours.

New fiction for September - The Mists of Avalon

This month we have"The mists of Avalon” by Marion Zimmer Bradley.

Please come to the Library to borrow this great book, or reserve through our catalogue if you have missed out.

Change to Library Hours for next week

Due to what is being predicted as extreme noise levels next Thursday 30 June and Friday 1 July in the Library area (due to refurbishment work on the Bundamba campus) we will most likely be closing at 12:00pm on both days not just Friday.  This could also be extended to a closure all day on Friday if the noise level is unbearable.

 

If you are needing resources or access to the library on these days, please organise these earlier in the week if possible.

 

We apologise for any inconvenience.

This Graphic Novel looks like it could be the first in a series on Harry Potty (or Potter if you prefer). If you liked the novels have a look at this one just for fun.

Book of the Month - February, yes I know we missed January :)

In February we have a series of three books as our books of the month. They are by Stieg Larsson, 'The girl with the dragon tattoo', 'The girl who played with fire' and 'The girl who kicked the hornet’s nest'
