Online training resources for Graphic Design and IT students

In an exciting win for the Bremer TAFE, we recently obtained access to Lynda.com in what is believed to be a first for Queensland TAFE. This resource offers students the chance to brush up on their skills in programs such as Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Fireworks and many other products using the latest versions available to industry.

This product should significantly improve the skills of students and staff and ensure they have the cutting edge tech skills to successfully compete in industries like Graphic Design, IT, Photography, etc.

Access to Lynda.com is via login and password and these will be issued by the library from the ELZ desk at Bundamba. Anyone who can’t access this desk is advised to contact the project officer for Lynda.com,
Max Evett.

Graphic Design classes have already received a demonstration of the product and training in how to reserve and book access to the accounts via the library catalogue. Initial feedback has been very positive, and we’re expecting that the accounts, like our graduates themselves, will be in high demand.

Hi Robyn - how did you gain access to the site? What costs are involved?
